Infancias sabrosas en la Colombia postconflicto: Taller de investigación y edición de vídeo con la UPN (Colombia)
Course Description
El curso dará una pequeña introducción a el mundo emocional en la infancia desde una perspectiva de las artes escénicas y se dedicará a modo de taller a editar en pequeños grupos un documental sobre este tema a partir de metraje del trabajo de campo de unos estudiantes de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional de Colombia en escuelas infantiles y primarias en el Donciello (Caquetá, Colombia). Se trata de un Proyecto financiado por el Instituto CAPAZ con el título “Infancias Sabrosas”: Emociones para la paz desde las artes escénicas con la primera infancia en el municipio el Doncello (Caquetá).

Course Description
Der Kurs hat das Ziel, einen Einblick in aktuelle literatur- und kulturwissenschaftliche Forschungsprojekte, -debatten und -themen zu vermitteln. Zudem sollen die Studierenden bereits erworbene Kenntnisse vertiefen und in konkreten Forschungszusammenhängen anwenden. Der Kurs bietet damit auch die Möglichkeit, Interesse an eigenen literatur- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Fragestellungen zu entwickeln und diese zu begleiten

Nuevas formas de justicia transicional: crímenes de guerra y justicia restauarativa
Course Description
La justicia transicional como disciplina ha tenido un desarrollo normativo, jurisprudencial y académico muy amplio en los últimas 50 años. Resultado de este desarrollo acelerado ha sido la creación de ciertos mínimos internacionales de carácter obligatorio para los países que buscan superar pasados traumáticos. Parte de esta estandarización, pasa por que la satisfacción de los derechos de las víctimas a la verdad, la justicia y la reparación sea indispensable para hacer tránsito de un régimen que viola los DDHH a uno que lo respeta. Estando el derecho a la justicia asociada a una forma de justicia punitivista y reribucionista. La Jurisicción Especial para la Paz es el primer tribunal de crímenes de guerra y lesa humanidad en el mundo que tiene el mandato expreso de implementar justicia restaurativa en sus procedimientos. El reto no es menor: por un lado, implica desvincular a la justicia transicional de su origen punitivista y por otro lado justificar que, a pesar de esa desvinculación, el derecho a la justicia de las víctimas puede ser satisfecho.

Intercultural Communication in linguistic Interactions
Course Description
Intercultural communication is an interdisciplinary field of study. In order to present a variety of theories that have been developed and emphasised at different stages of intercultural communication as a distinct area of research, this seminar aims to approach it from sociological, anthropological, psychological and linguistic perspectives. Particular attention will be paid to the interactions themselves, in which participants are involved and which may be expressed in multimodal ways.
The seminar will be held in collaboration with the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil and will therefore include practical experience of intercultural communication.
In this course we will discuss theoretical approaches, methodological tools and empirical studies in the field of intercultural communication. Participants will also conduct their own empirical research on intercultural communication in interaction, focusing on the analysis of group work (online/hybrid). Depending on the background of the participants, there may be an opportunity for multilingual language use (receptive multilingualism, translanguaging).
We will proceed by reading, discussing and presenting texts and studies central to the field of intercultural communication in interaction (such as Common Ground), and by applying key methodological concepts (such as transcribing speech and annotating gestures) to video. We will also work in tandems with students from abroad in online sessions, practising and analysing intercultural communication at the same time. Therefore, participants should be willing to sign a consent form agreeing to the videotaping of classes and online interactions for their own analysis, which will be part of the PROBRAL (CAPES-DAAD) project "The multimodal coordination of intercultural video-mediated interaction".

Literatur als Welterschließung - Schreibatelier mit der Autorin Nirina Ralantaoritsimba
Course Description
Der Kurs rückt den Prozess des Schreibens in den Fokus: Ausgehend von einer Reflexion und Rekonstruktion der Studierenden zu ihren ersten eigenen Erfahrungen des Produzierens und Rezipierens von Texten werden sie in verschiedenen Schritten an den Prozess des eigenständigen (kreativen) Schreibens von Kurzgeschichten herangeführt. Theoretisch-methodisch ist der Kurs auf die Textsorte der Kurzgeschichte ausgerichtet – praktischer Input, Tipps und Erfahrungen werden von der französischen Autorin Dr. Nirina Ralantoaritsimba ergänzt und von der Seminarleiterin literaturwissenschaftlich eingeordnet. Beide nehmen die Studierenden mit in den Entstehungsprozess ihrer eigenen Texte und in die Frage der Reflexion narrativer Mittel und begleiten das Schreiben der Studierenden in einem interdisziplinären Dialog von Praxis und theoretischer Reflexion, wobei die Freude über den Erfolg der ersten eigenen Texte im Vordergrund steht.
