The Female Athlete - SHE
Course Description
SHE is aimed at the woman in sport. In order to exploit the full potential of the woman's physiology, the woman has the unique opportunity to use her cycle specifically and to use it as her strength. Women in training is an area of concern for sports scientists worldwide. Despite controversial data, scientists agree that women require different and more individualized training than men.
The prerequisite is a healthy female body, coupled with a high degree of self-awareness. Long-term and sustainable performance development is only possible if the foundation is based on health. Relative energy deficits, nutrient deficiencies and negative body perception are challenges that women in particular face in sports.
For this reason, it is a matter close to our hearts to address the different needs of women in sports within the framework of the event series, taking into account gender competence.
